Seorae Island (Seoraeseom), situated between the Dongjak Bridge and Banpo Bridge, emerged in the 1980s during the construction of the Olympic Bridge and the development of the Hangang area. Despite its name, the island is easily accessible from Bangpo Hangang Park via three bridges and features a picturesque riverside adorned with weeping willows and seasonal flowers. The island offers a scenic walking trail, benches and open grass for relaxation, making it a favorite destination for couples, leisurely walkers, and photography enthusiasts alike.
In May, Seorae Island bursts into vibrant yellows during the annual Seoraeseom Flower Festival, showcasing expansive mustard flower fields reminiscent of Jeju Island.

The Hangang Drone Light Show and the International Fireworks Festival are annual events that takes place in the fall. Following the success of last year's event, the Hangang Drone Light Show returns earlier this year, promising an even more dazzling experience for spectators.
Between late April and early June, five shows will be held along the banks of the Hangang River: Jamsil Hangang Park and Tteuksum Hangang Park.
