DevOps Engineer

Shuttle is building digital solutions for Korea’s growing international community. Our app, Shuttle: Food Delivery in Korea, connects customers to local restaurants through a platform designed for convenience, reliability, and accessibility. Behind the scenes, we support vendors and drivers with a powerful suite of tools and APIs that manage everything from order flow to delivery logistics. As we expand into new services and markets, we’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to help improve our infrastructure, automate deployments, and ensure our systems stay secure, stable, and efficient.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain our cloud infrastructure (AWS).
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment workflows.
- Implement monitoring tools (e.g. CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana) to proactively detect and respond to issues.
- Collaborate with developers to maintain consistency across dev, staging, and production environments.
- Manage security best practices including IAM policies, VPN access, and secrets management.
- Help plan and execute infrastructure scaling strategies for new services and high-traffic periods.
Qualifications
- You have 3+ years of experience in DevOps or systems engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and other major cloud platforms.
- Proficiency in building and managing CI/CD pipelines (BitBucket).
- You’re a clear communicator in English & Korean who can manage complexity, clarify priorities, and work across teams.
- You have experience with legacy code base.
- Solid understanding of Linux systems and command-line tools.
- Experience with Docker.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Familiarity with database operations (e.g., AWS RDS, MongoDB, MySQL).
- Experience working with remote or international teams.
Compensation
Compensation is competitive and based on experience, ranging from ₩3,000,000 - ₩5,500,000/month. We offer a flexible structure that may include annual performance-based salary bonuses aligned with the impact you bring to the team.
