Looking for a new way to take in Seoul’s stunning skyline? Head to Yeouido and experience the city's newest attraction, SEOULDAL—a tethered gas balloon that offers unbeatable views of Seoul’s iconic landmarks like the Hangang River, Namsan Seoul Tower, and the entire Yeouido area.
Launched on August 23rd, SEOULDAL has quickly become a must-visit spot for both locals and tourists. Whether you're taking in the sparkling city lights at night or enjoying the peaceful daytime views, the balloon ride provides a fresh perspective of the city’s vibrant landscape.
Once you ascend into the sky, you'll be treated to panoramic views that capture some of Seoul’s most beloved sights, including:
If you're wondering about safety, you’ll be glad to know that SEOULDAL has been certified by the Korea Institute of Aviation Safety Technology, so you can enjoy your ride with peace of mind.
Before or after your balloon ride, you can explore Yeouido’s many attractions:
Due to its popularity, on-site ride standby registration is now required. Be sure to register for standby as soon as you arrive, even before purchasing your ticket. On weekends and public holidays, standby registration may close early, so it’s best to plan ahead. Also, remember to check the weather and air pollution levels before your visit. For the most breathtaking views of the city, aim to go during or after sunset.
Stay updated on ride availability and any changes to registration times through the official SEOULDAL Notion page (English): Live Updates.
Be sure to add SEOULDAL to your itinerary if you plan on exploring Yeouido or the Han River. After your balloon ride, explore nearby parks, shopping centers, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of one of Seoul’s business districts.
